Day One....

Well, Day One of working on Ethans Room got alot accomplished! We stained all the oak boards. (40 linear feet of it all) We went to Menards and got the molding for the top and the bottom of the half wall. Got those stained. Picked out the color for the top of the room. Let all the boards dry and got them in. We looked at the weather half way through the day and was sooo happy we decided to do all the staining on Saturday because it is suppose to rain Sunday and Monday. So that was great to be able to do it outside.. because whew that stain we got is strong smellin! =) And it all needs to dry for six hrs.

So the plan is for after church to paint the ceiling and install the new light we got. Finish any little prepping there is for the top. Re-paint the walls. and get the room completely cleaned out and ready for the Monday install of the oak half wall, waynes coating or whatever you call it! Sooooo excited! I got before pics of the room... Now I just need to find my camera battery charger so that I can charge that to get go after pics.
